mad, I just checked out their site, not the greatest of everything, but pretty feckin' sweet!
<font size="2" face="Verdana, Helvetica, sans-serif">The tanks are from the same company that makes our favorite collection of pipes! The company is called Walthers - it's from their "Cornerstone" series for HO scale train dioramas. Unfortunately their website sucks but hobby shops have huge catalogs of their stuff. I paid retail but you'll probably find these cheaper on eBay! Originally posted by EndQuest:
Ooh, ooh, ooh! Where is the grid floor from? The tanks?
I vote for a Cyber Spidey to stand on it.
The grid floor is from you, buddy! I just trimmed it to fit.

I might have to try my hand at making a base now.
"Batman, Shmatman, you know that base just screams Peekernaut!"
<font size="2" face="Verdana, Helvetica, sans-serif">Yeah they don't have much in the way of a catalog on their site, which is too bad. They've got a lot of neat train diorama pieces that can be retro-fitted to be anything you want. They've got the right amount of detail, the prices are decent and the scale is perfect. Unfortunately you gotta take a trip to the hobby shop to shop for their stuff.Originally posted by toymank:

that's awesome - I'm gonna have to try something like that too!
I love that grid stuff... I've been trying to find some for a wall thing I want to do... is it the same as the stuff that they put in flourescent light fixtures? I wanna check Lowe's or Home Depot, I'm imagining it's the same stuff?
pairadocs - EQ sent me that from Florida. It's an air vent of some kind. I can't get them where I live. Here's a pic of what they look like when you buy them:
They come in oval pieces about 12" long. I just trimmed out a section to fit the size I needed.
If you didn't see it, this is the base I made for EQ using almost an entire vent:
